Thrive Advantage Group - Part-Time Licensed Therapist (1099)

Location: Remote (Telehealth Only)
Position: Part-Time, 1099 Independent Contractor to start

Thrive Advantage Group is a well-established, reputable group practice located in Metro Detroit, known for providing high-quality psychotherapy services. Founded by Megan Gunnell, psychotherapist, #1 bestselling author, international retreat leader, and admin of the “Thriving Therapists” Facebook community.

Our group practice is grounded in compassionate, experienced care. 

We are currently looking for a fully licensed therapist to join our team. We provide consistent referrals and a supportive environment. We welcome all qualified applicants. As a contractor, you will work independently and provide telehealth services exclusively, as we currently do not offer in-person sessions. We’re searching for therapists who can serve adults, but working with children, teens and couples is a plus. 

Key Qualifications:

• Fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Michigan.
• Training and experience in CBT, DBT, and EMDR preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of psychotherapy experience (can include practicum, internship)
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
• Passion for delivering high-quality mental health care to a diverse clientele.
• NPI and CAQH registration (or willingness to obtain).
• Personal liability insurance required.
• Private in home office space, computer and phone for telehealth use.

Preferred Qualities:

• Compassionate and client-centered.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, telehealth-only setting.
