Meet Your Facilitator
Katie Sheridan, LMSW
Katie Hartman-Sheridan, LMSW, knows that life is a journey that can present challenges that impact our inner peace and happiness, as well as our relationships with those we love. In these times, we need a supportive and comfortable environment to explore our feelings and thoughts and to problem solve adversities.
Katie has spent the last 20+ years working with both teens and adults. Having started her career working with teens in a variety of settings, including schools, therapeutic residential settings, and private practice. Katie enjoys the energy of young people and continues to assist teens in navigating their emotions, relationships, and the challenges of being a teen! As her career progressed Katie discovered she also was effective working with adults and expanded her practice to include people closer to her own age.
She specializes in addressing anxiety and depression and has a particular interest in assisting people addressing traumatic experiences. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR).
