Katie has spent the last 20+ years working with both teens and adults. Having started her career working with teens in a variety of settings, including schools, therapeutic residential settings, and private practice. Katie enjoys the energy of young people and continues to assist teens in navigating their emotions, relationships, and the challenges of being a teen! As her career progressed Katie discovered she also was effective working with adults and expanded her practice to include people closer to her own age. She specializes in addressing anxiety and depression and has a particular interest in assisting people addressing traumatic experiences. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Processing (EMDR). If not in her office, you will find her hiking in the woods. Over the years she discovered biking and kayaking are great ways to immerse herself in the great outdoors. She is also an athlete and is entering into her 22nd year of playing adult soccer, her favorite form of exercise! She brings a wealth of knowledge to our team from her many years of managing a spa and wellness center. In addition to managing our business, Heidi is also a yoga instructor and offers yoga for our client groups, retreats and workshops.
